Mosaic medallions make an artistic, yet practical, addition to virtually every decor, whether residential or commercial.  Our mosaic medallions are created mainly from tumbled marble, polished marble or slate.  Our hallmark, tumbled marble medallions are created from thousands of tiny, hand-cut pieces of natural marble handcrafted into extraordinary works of art.  Designs are available in both geometric patterns as well as still-life depictions.  Our artisans can even recreate a photograph of a person or animal as a mosaic for the most personalized decor option.

There are a wide variety of applications for our mosaics which come in an array of sizes, from about sixteen inches to more than six feet in diameter.  Smaller mosaics are ideal for kitchen backsplash, while our largest mosaics, which we refer to as marble carpets, can be inset into tile or hardwood floor to achieve the look of an oriental area rug. 

But, mosaics are far more practical than an area rug, entrance mat or carpet.  Why?  First and foremost, they are easy to clean, just wipe or damp mop as you would the rest of your flooring, countertop or backsplash.  They also make furniture placement easier as they are inset flush with your flooring - tables and shelves will remain level and dining room chairs will slide easily over them.  Flush mounting also eliminates the tripping hazard of rugs and carpets, making mosaics the ideal decor solution in high traffic areas or where accessibility is of concern (ie/ wheelchairs, assistive devices, small children etc.)
